A Recap of Our Installer Competition
Last month, we transformed our MCF warehouse into a friendly battleground of talent and creativity with the Installer Competition! Eight of our incredible journeyman installers from Local Union 1247 stepped onto the mat, ready to face the ultimate challenge: laying LVT in a precise herringbone pattern.

A huge congrats to Angelo Torres and Cesar Haro for impressing the judges and earning the top prize—an all-expenses-paid trip to Phoenix, Arizona, to compete at the CFI Western Regionals!! 👏 The champs took home the medals, but all of our journeyman installers fought with honor and skill!
What Made the Event Special
This was more than just a competition—everyone played a part in creating a sense of community! 🤝
The incredible skills on display were inspiring, but the real highlight was the togetherness in the room. From those who set up the event to the apprentices, friends, and family who came out to support, the energy was electric, truly reflecting the heart of MCF.

Angelo and Cesar are gearing up for the CFI Western Regionals, where they’ll showcase their skills against some of the best in the industry—we’re excited to see how far they can go!
